A well-balanced new piece of the city, which complements the existing context, and provides a dynamic and attractive urban place. We aimed to respect the identity and heritage of this postindustrial area, and to draw from the rich history of this place. Local identity of the complex was strengthened by retaining and re-cladding of the existing historical building.

With environment in mind, carbon emissions were minimized, thanks to Modular Design For Manufacture and Assembly, use of cross-laminated timber, and salvaged and locally sourced materials with low carbon intensities.
